Untitled Self Portrait, photography, 2018
In August of 2018 I was a participant in Plug In Institute of Contemporary Arts Summer Institute with #BUSH gallery for Site/ation. Inspired by BUSH’s use of land surveyor’s material like bright orange and blue spray paint. The bright orange parachute cord is a mark of visibility.
WHOSE LAND / BLOOD ON WHOSE HANDS, silkscreen, 2017
Reflection Series, photography, 2017
This series of photographic medium format works builds from the artists sculptural work Reflection Piece. The person in the photographs is wearing the mask made of broken mirror shards and is depicted moving through a thicket; signalling land reciprocity.
Reflection Series has also been featured in Canadian Art Magazine‘s 2018 winter edition.
